Union #5 Jack .(Early Real Union)
This is an early Union plane with the original x-series type lateral adjuster. This plane has been completely restored (including stripping and refinishing) and tuned and sharpened as a jack. The iron is an original Union Mfg Co iron and has been sharpened with a camber. It’s ready for the shop.
The cutter adjuster is right handed
See the tote horn repair. Knob and tote have just been waxed.
