Clifton #4 Smoothing Plane
I don’t believe this plane has ever touched a piece of wood. It has never been sharpened. The only thing missing is the box.
It’s easily the nicest looking plane I’ve seen. A bedrock style smoother with quality construction and some fine finishes.
The only apology would be one small flaw in the Garret Wade sock.
A new Clifton list for $345 on Amazon (link below) but lack the extraordinary finish of this older model, wouldn’t include the Garret Wade sock and the new model now have a single piece chip breaker.
