Chaplin’s Improved Hand Plane

 

This is a restore I did. According to Roger Smith in Patented Transitional and Metallic Planes in America, 1827-1927 (Vol. I) this was manufactured around 1900 by Tower & Lyon in Glen Ridge NJ.
